Introduction
Celsion was founded in 2001 by two young electrical and synthetic engineers. Their purpose was to develop fire and heat protection systems which far exceeded the present day market standards. After intense research and development and several firing tests at the FMPA Stuttgart (University of Stuttgart) products were developed which established new standards.
The development, manufacturing and selling of innovative fire protection technical products is the main focus of the company. Our own prototyping as well as having the possibility of preliminary tests at our factory are often the best conditions to insure the development of innovative products in the future.
In 2003 we set new standards with the adherence to the temperature limit of 35° C in case of fire as required per VDE 0660 part 500 and as per EN 60439 part 1.
Legal requirements call far a maximum air humidity of 50% to prevent the condensation of water on the internal fixtures. Both are basic requirements for the functional integrity of the electrical fixtures.
The certification of the MPA Stuttgart confirmed lower temperature and humidity values in case of fire.
The primary application for Celsion Products are large construction projects with special requirements for safety and dependability. Specifically airports, banks, hotels and hospitals require products which guarantee the highest available levels of protection.
