The key to success
At Celsion, we attach great importance to the health and well-being of our employees. For this reason, we are committed to creating modern workplaces that promote and support the ergonomics and well-being of our employees. For example, our workplaces are equipped with height-adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and optimal lighting. We continuously invest in the latest technology to ensure that our employees can work with motivation, satisfaction, and success.
We also place great value on a culture of cooperation and mutual respect to ensure that every employee can reach their full potential. Our teams bring together young and old to form an unbeatable group. We are convinced that the combination of experience and dynamics contributes significantly to our success. Common activities such as our bobsleigh ride in the Ore Mountains strengthen our team spirit and promote the commitment and motivation of our employees.
Thanks to excellent working conditions and dedicated employees, we have become a successful and productive company. We are proud to have a team of professionals who care about the well-being and health of their employees and strive to achieve the best results for our customers.

Donation handover to the Bautzen Tigers
We were very pleased to give the youth sports club Bautzen Tigers eV a Christmas present as part of our sustainability project. The talented young athletes were delighted, because donations like this not only keep the club going, but also support team spirit, discipline and the social development of the children.

A helping hand in difficult times...
Celsion regularly donates money to various organisations, initiatives and other good causes in the region. Supporting nature protection and helping children, young people and animals are issues we constantly bear in mind. It is important to us that our employees help create our fundraising campaign calendar, by coming up with ideas.
Among others, we have supported the children’s hospice “Bärenherz Leipzig e.V.” and the animal shelter “Tierheim Oelzschau – Tierschutzverein Leipziger Land e.V.” Thanks to our help, the youth centre in Spreetal was also able to have a new heating system installed. Children’s aid projects and animal welfare organisations in particular are having a hard time at the moment.
The overall number of donations is decreasing due to the current crisis, and inflation is causing huge supply cost increases: a double whammy for such associations. As Team Celsion, we are happy to make a small contribution, and in doing so we attach great importance to regionality.
A green contribution:
an apple tree.
Celsion participated in the “Tree Challenge” campaign in Langenfeld in November 2022 and is now officially a tree sponsor.
Each tree makes a valuable contribution to carbon sequestration, oxygen production and as a habitat and food source for numerous animals.

Celsion planting campaign for employees
Spring is here: the air is buzzing with life, and we're enjoying the beauty of nature. To ensure this continues, the Celsion sales team has come up with a special offer. Every employee will receive a voucher worth over €50 from a local nursery or garden center. These vouchers can be used flexibly to purchase trees, flowers, or even vegetable and balcony plants.
In recent years, the biomass of flying insects has declined by more than XNUMX%. In addition, almost half of all insect species are considered to be endangered, or are already extinct. Fewer insects also mean less food for our native birds. By planting their garden or balcony, every Celsion employee can help preserve biodiversity.

Donation presented to the railway friends association “Ost Sächsische Eisenbahn Freunde e.V. (OSEF)”.
The constant process of change and new attitude in society towards sustainability, among other things, motivated us to donate money to regional projects and associations instead of passing it on to our loyal customers in the form of gifts and presents. Knowing that a large number of local organisations were struggling with financial difficulties, especially in XNUMX, we and our employees decided to counter this by supporting one regional project each month. Selecting from numerous proposals and a large number of regional organisations, in December XNUMX we chose a traditional organisation from Löbau. The association Ost Sächsische Eisenbahn Freunde e.V. (OSEF) has set itself the task of saving historic railway vehicles from being scrapped. They are lovingly and lengthily restored, and can also be hired for various festivities. The Covid pandemic caused the organisation a lack of income from train trip events and hiring. Thanks to our financial donation of € XNUMX, the OSEF was able to get back on track and set off again at full steam in the next year. The ceremonial presentation took place at the beginning of the Advent season, on XNUMX. December XNUMX, in front of our headquarters in Dresden. Boris Schubert, Managing Director of Celsion Brandschutzsysteme GmbH (left) and his wife Lucie Schubert (Head of Accounting, Human Resources, Logistics and Purchasing) presented the donation cheque to the Deputy Chairman of the OSEF, Ralph Gruner (right). Out staff member Annica Turski (centre) organised and coordinated the fundraising campaign and the presentation.
